Traditional Healing

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage, also known as Nuad Boran, is a therapeutic massage technique that originated in Thailand over 2,500 years ago. It is based on the principles of traditional Thai medicine and draws influences from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.

Traditional Thai Massage is performed fully clothed on a mat on the floor. The therapist uses a combination of acupressure, yoga-like stretches, and joint mobilization to release tension, improve flexibility, and promote the flow of energy throughout the body.

Central to Thai Massage is the concept of energy lines or "Sen." It is believed that 72,000 Sen are running through the body, and the massage aims to clear blockages along these lines to restore the balance of energy.

Energetic Healing

Energetic healing refers to various holistic practices that work with the body's energy fields to promote balance, healing, and well-being. It is based on the idea that disruptions in the body's energy flow can lead to physical, emotional, and mental imbalances.

There are numerous approaches to energetic healing, including Reiki, Qi Gong, Pranic Healing, and others. These practices involve the transfer or manipulation of energy to restore balance and facilitate healing.

Tibetan Bowls

Tibetan Singing Bowls have a rich history in Tibetan and Himalayan cultures. They are used for meditation, sound healing, and spiritual practices. The bowls are made of various metals and are played by striking or rubbing the rim with a mallet, producing a resonant sound.

The vibrations and harmonics produced by the singing bowls are believed to have therapeutic effects on the body, mind, and spirit. Many practitioners use them to induce a state of deep relaxation, reduce stress, and promote healing.

Some practitioners associate singing bowls with the balancing of the body's energy centers, known as chakras. The sound frequencies emitted by the bowls are thought to align and harmonize these energy centers.
