Ancestral therapies constitute a living intangible cultural heritage, nourished by centuries of observation, enrichment and transmission. In this spirit, Rahul Bharti's career embodies a rare and precious synthesis of traditional knowledge from several continents, and represents a unique opportunity for anyone wishing to explore an integrative and humanistic approach to global health.
From the age of nine, Rahul Bharti was immersed in the shamanic traditions of the indigenous peoples of Sri Lanka. Adopted by a community living in harmony with nature, he was introduced to practices based on the interconnection of body, soul and environment. This way of life, which rejects hierarchy and promotes community, has forged in him a deep understanding of care as a collective and sacred act.
His journey led him to extend this apprenticeship with a blind master who lived on the beaches of southern Thailand, thus undergoing the rigorous experience of voluntary blindness for several months, during which he experienced the energetic workings of the human body, forging an exhaustive and precise understanding.
He went to Australia to visit Aboriginal communities, where he deepened his knowledge of 'Dreamtime', the cultural and spiritual matrix in which healing rites, rooted in the land and the natural elements, unfold
In North America, among the indigenous peoples of Alberta, he learned about purification ceremonies (sweat lodges), rituals of spiritual liberation in tipis, and traditional dances, where the harmonisation of mind and body is at the heart of the therapeutic act.
From his teens onwards, he immersed himself in learning to play the Tibetan bowls, an art he has mastered and taught for many years. Tibetan singing bowls, traditional instruments made from an alloy of seven precious metals, generate complex sound waves whose therapeutic effects are now being studied in the field of complementary medicine. Their use is based on the principle of vibratory resonance: the sounds produced act on the physiological, neurological and energetic systems of the human being. The vibrations induced stimulate blood and lymph circulation, encourage activation of the parasympathetic system and induce a state of deep relaxation comparable to that observed during guided meditation or REM sleep. In addition, the harmonious frequencies of the bowls influence brain waves (alpha and theta), helping to regulate emotions and reduce stress markers.
Exploratory studies, particularly in psychophysiology, suggest that exposure to Tibetan bowls can produce measurable benefits, such as reduced anxiety, improved sleep and a heightened sense of internal coherence. Integrated into multidisciplinary therapeutic protocols, these instruments also act as vectors for energy realignment, by stimulating subtle centres (chakras) and releasing somato-emotional tensions.
With more than forty years of uninterrupted practice behind him, Rahul Bharti has now combined these ancestral teachings into a coherent, accessible and culturally sensitive approach. His method is based on the use of hands-on energy healing techniques, the integration of sound (in particular Tibetan singing bowls), and deep spiritual practices designed to restore the individual's vital balance.
This training programme offers a structured and rigorous exploration of traditional healing practices, based on a scientific approach to vital energy, an anthropological understanding of healing rituals and an ethic founded on respect for living beings and cultural heritage.
Taking part in this course is a way of reconnecting with yourself, with others and with the environment, while helping to preserve and promote ancestral wisdom in the service of global well-being.
Programme :
This 5-day course specialises in providing therapeutic support by learning two types of technique: ancestral shamanic healing and Tibetan singing bowls.
· An introduction will cover :
o the role and ethics of the therapist
o taking care of yourself and your energy
o the location of the therapies and its energetic cleansing
· The teaching will then be divided into two parts: learning how to use shamanic healing techniques by applying the hands and Tibetan bowls. These therapeutic practices can then be combined during a treatment, as will be explained during the course.
o Subject: Shamanic healing. Rahul Bharti passes on his mastery of energetic practices through the application of his hands to the body, from a distance or in contact with it.
o Objective: You will learn a 1h30 therapeutic energy treatment protocol that covers the whole body in order to work on releasing memories and traumatic impacts stored in the cells, energy blockages in the main chakras, etc.
Head and chest treatment: a 20 to 30 minutes protocol;
Front part treatment (from head to feet): a 45 to 60 minutes protocol.
Rahul Bharti will explain the symptoms and how the energy works.
He will also be teaching an energetic therapeutic practice called defragmentation, to free the mind and unconscious blockages, and gain clarity and awareness.
o Subject: Tibetan singing bowls. Rahul Bharti teaches therapeutic practices using sets of three Tibetan singing bowls (male, female and kundalini) according to specific protocols.
o Objective: You will learn different protocols, which are articulated like musical scores, to be able to deliver treatments ranging from 20 minutes to 1h15 covering the body in its entirety.
Upper part: head treatment (20 minutes);
Front part: whole body treatment (45 minutes);
This course is open to everyone, beginners, practitioners, therapists, those who have already done a course with Rahul Bharti or not.
