Workshops and Open Days
Rahul Bharti is committed to preserving and promoting traditional medicine through training courses, conferences, and open days.
Having led an extraordinary life, he has devoted himself since the age of seven to the study of the human body as a whole. He promotes the transmission of this knowledge as a living cultural heritage and its integration into the modern world for the benefit of everyone's well-being.
His approach is holistic: he invites everyone to take charge of their own health by treating the root causes of disorders, while recognizing the complementary nature of traditional and Western medicine, which he believes should come together in a spirit of mutual understanding and enrichment.

PARIS : MASSAGE ANCIEN - Du 22 au 26 juin - infos
Origins and cultural significance:
Rooted in Thailand but inspired by the ancient therapeutic traditions of India and Sri Lanka, Nuad Phaen Boran has its origins over 2,500 years ago in the teachings of Dr Jivaka Komarabhacca, the Buddha's physician.
Enriched by traditional Indian (Ayurvedic), Chinese and South-East Asian medicines, including the mastery of acupressure, stretching and energy lines, Nuad Phaen Boran has been passed down orally and preserved for thousands of years.
Techniques and methodology :
Nuad Phaen Boran is characterised by precise use of pressure points, applied with the hands, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet.
Rahul Bharti began learning these techniques at the age of seven at the Chiang Mai Traditional Medicine Hospital.
After graduating at the age of nine, he enriched his practice by researching and studying the subject in various cultures and countries (Bhutan, Cambodia, Japan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam).
He has developed a fourteen-hour continuous therapeutic massage, adaptable to the therapy objective and inspired by tai chi and the martial arts for precision, harmony and continuity of movement.
He is one of the last living masters of this art and helped spread the technique in 1980s by training Western therapists from his center based in Nepal.
His method targets specific physical and energetic components to restore balance to the body's vital force. The inclusion of yogic stretching improves joint flexibility and mobility. The special feature of this massage is that it is performed with the recipient fully clothed, guaranteeing comfort and respect.
A holistic approach :
More than a physical therapy, Nuad Phaen Boran is a meditative journey that links the physical body, energy and soul. It encourages a state of deep connection and awareness, promoting not only physical relief, but also emotional balance and mental clarity through energy work.
Benefits for the beneficiary :
This holistic therapeutic massage offers :deep relaxation
reduced stress
improved flexibility
muscle relaxation
relaxation of fascias
rebalancing the musculoskeletal structure
stimulation of the lymphatic system
stimulation of the nervous system
stimulation of circulation
rebalancing of energy
boosting immunity
relief from common physical ailments
In the tradition of ancient wisdom, this therapeutic experience aims to achieve holistic well-being, while fostering a profound sense of peace and inner balance.
In the fluid dance of hands, breath and energy, Nuad Phaen Boran reveals itself not just as a massage, but as a celebration of the arts of an ancestral medicine, a gateway to holistic harmony.
How is traditional Thai massage performed?
Environment :
Generally practised on the floor, on a firm mat or thin mattress.
The setting is calm and quiet.
No oils or creams are used (unlike oil massage).
Receiver position :
The recipient remains fully clothed, in soft clothing (loose trousers + tunic).
The massage is performed in different positions: lying on your back, on your stomach, on your side, and sometimes seated.
Gestures and techniques : although the practitioner's whole body is involved in the practice, the therapist uses in particular :
hands
feet
elbows
knees
The massage follows energy lines similar to the meridians in Chinese medicine.
It includes:
rhythmic pressure
progressive stretching
slow, deep, mobilisation
Programme :
During this course, you will learn Level 1 of traditional Thai massage, which will enable you to perform a complete session lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours, progressing from the feet to the legs, abdomen, arms, hands, neck and head.
Level 1 practice plan :
Traditional Thai massage generally begins with the recipient lying on their back, working first on the feet, calves, knees, thighs and buttocks to stimulate blood circulation, the nervous and lymphatic systems, work gently on the joints, relax the fascia and open up the main energy lines using rhythmic pressure, stretching and mobilisation.
The practitioner then massages the abdomen, encouraging digestive and emotional relaxation through gentle pressure and synchronised breathing.
Next comes work with the arms and hands to activate two major energy lines, the heart protector (heart line) and marma points in the palms.
The massage ends with the neck, skull and face, very soothing, with delicate pressure on precise points to calm the mind, the unconscious and stress.
It ends in a moment of integrative calm, accompanied by a cup of tea shared between the therapist and the recipient.
This course is open to everyone, beginners, practitioners, therapists, those who have already done a course with Rahul Bharti or not.

PARIS : ANCIENT HEALING AND SINGING BOLS - du 30 juin au 4 juillet - infos
Origin of teaching :
Ancestral therapies constitute a living intangible cultural heritage, nourished by centuries of observation, enrichment and transmission. In this spirit, Rahul Bharti's career embodies a rare and precious synthesis of traditional knowledge from several continents, and represents a unique opportunity for anyone wishing to explore an integrative and humanistic approach to global health.
From the of 9, Rahul Bharti was immersed in the shamanic traditions of the indigenous peoples of Sri Lanka. Adopted by a community living in harmony with nature, he was introduced to practices based on the interconnection of body, soul and environment. This way of life, which rejects hierarchy and promotes community, has forged in him a deep understanding of care as a collective and sacred act.
His journey led him to extend this apprenticeship with a blind master in southern Thailand, thus undergoing the rigorous experience of voluntary blindness for several months, during which he was able to discover the energetic workings of the human body, forging an exhaustive and precise understanding.
He travelled to Australia to visit Aboriginal communities, where he deepened his knowledge of 'Dreamtime', the cultural and spiritual matrix in which healing rites, rooted in the land and the natural elements, are performed
In North America, among the Aboriginal peoples of Alberta, he learned about purification ceremonies (sweat lodges), rituals of spiritual liberation in tipis, and traditional dances, where the harmonisation of mind and body is at the heart of the therapeutic act.
As a teenager, he immersed himself in learning to play the Tibetan bowls, an art he has mastered and taught for many years. These singing bowls, traditional instruments made from an alloy of seven metals, generate complex sound waves whose therapeutic effects are now being studied in the field of complementary medicine. Their use is based on the principle of vibratory resonance: the sounds produced act on the physiological, neurological and energetic systems of the human being.
The vibrations induced stimulate blood and lymph circulation, promote activation of the parasympathetic system and induce a state of deep relaxation comparable to that observed during guided meditation or REM sleep. In addition, the harmonious frequencies of the bowls influence brain waves (alpha and theta), helping to regulate emotions and reduce stress markers.
Exploratory studies, particularly in psychophysiology, suggest that exposure to Tibetan bowls can produce measurable benefits, such as reduced anxiety, improved sleep and a heightened sense of internal coherence. Integrated into multidisciplinary therapeutic protocols, these instruments also act as vectors for energy realignment, by stimulating the subtle centres (chakras) and releasing somato-emotional tensions.
With more than 40 years of uninterrupted practice behind him, Rahul Bharti has now combined these ancestral teachings into a coherent, accessible and culturally diverse approach. His method is based on the use of energetic therapeutic techniques involving the laying on of hands, the integration of sound (in particular Tibetan singing bowls), and profound spiritual practices designed to restore the individual's vital balance.
Objective:
This 5-day course specialises in providing therapeutic support by learning two types of technique: ancestral shamanic healing and Tibetan singing bowls.
Taking part in this course is also a way of reconnecting with yourself, with others and with the environment, while helping to preserve and promote ancestral wisdom in the service of global well-being.
Programme :
An introduction will cover :
the role and ethics of the therapist;
taking care of yourself and your energy;
the location of the therapies and its energetic cleansing.
The teaching will then be divided into two parts: learning how to perform shamanic healing using hands and Tibetan bowls. These therapeutic practices can be combined during a treatment, as will be explained during the course.
o SHAMANIC HEALING. Rahul Bharti transmits his mastery of energetic practices by placing his hands on the body, either from a distance or in contact with it.
Objective: You will learn a 1h30 therapeutic energy treatment protocol that covers the entire front part of the body from the head to the feet, in order to work on releasing memories and traumatic impacts stored in the cells, energy blockages in the main chakras, etc.
The practice includes a 20 to 30 minutes protocol covering the head and chest and a 1 hour protocol covering the whole body (front part).
Rahul Bharti will then explain the symptoms and how the energy works.
You will also learn an energetic therapeutic practice called defragmentation, to free the mind and unconscious blockages and gain clarity and awareness.
o TIBETAN SINGING BOWLS.
Rahul Bharti teaches therapeutic practices using sets of three Tibetan bowls (masculine, feminine and kundalini) according to specific protocols.
Objective: You will learn different protocols, which are articulated like musical scores, to be able to deliver treatments ranging from 20 minutes (neck, haed face) to 1h15 minutes.
Upper part: head (20 minutes).
Front part: whole body (45 minutes).
You will also be taught several self healing practices with the bowls.
This course is open to everyone, beginners, practitioners, therapists, those who have already done a course with Rahul Bharti or not.For those interesting in joining the one-month course in Nepal, please kindly note that the content of this workshop will also be covered and completed by a 45 minutes session of Tibetan Singing Bowls (whole body back part) and a one hour session of Ancient Healing (whole body back part).

Understand the meaning of your life, study the functioning of your physical and energetic bodies and learn the practices you need to implement to feel well.
OBJECTIVE: A SUSTAINABLE, GRADUAL AND CONCRETE TRANSFORMATION
This five-day course offers complete immersion in a holistic approach that combines theoretical and practical instruction.
The aim is not to collect new knowledge that will later be put aside, but to transform self-knowledge into concrete solutions for maintaining good health and getting better.Main objectives:
Understand the meaning of life. To answer the following questions: Why are we here? Why do we go through trials? How can we transform these trials into learning and move forward?
Identify our blockages and wounds, whether physical or emotional, conscious or unconscious, and learn how to deal with them.
Understand the anatomy of the human body's energy system, identify where these impacts are engrammed in our bodies, often resulting in physical ailments and illnesses, and work on releasing them, cleansing them and rebalancing the body as a whole.
Build a healthy lifestyle through regular practices: work on the body, organs, cells, mind and energy.
Deconstruct our limiting thoughts, authorize ourselves to live happily and launch ourselves without fear in order to live the maximum number of constructive, joyful experiences.
PROGRAM
To meet these objectives, Rahul Bharti has designed a five-day program that is clear, progressive and applicable in your daily life, so that you can continue to evolve autonomously, at your own pace. The first two days are devoted to theoretical training, which sets the framework for the practices taught over the following three days. However, simple practices and exercises are covered from day one.
Every morning, at the start of the course and throughout the day, there is plenty of time for discussion and exchange. Students are given the opportunity to ask probing or clarifying questions on the subjects covered, to ensure that everyone leaves with a solid understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects.
Students are also invited to share their life experiences, health problems and personal difficulties during the course. All the more so when bridges are created between the points covered and personal life. Each testimonial is an invaluable source of learning for everyone, and an opportunity to find answers in the course content and exchanges with Rahul Bharti and the group.
Theoretical framework: two days
Understand how the human body functions on a physical and energetic level:
o Subject: Study of the anatomy of the human body's energy system: study of the soul and the meaning of life on Earth, anatomy of the human body's energy system including study of the seven major chakras, energy in the body, masculine and feminine, elements: water-fire-wind, etc.
o Result: An understanding of the energy circuit and the physical body, so you can take action to transform your health and your daily life.
Build a healthy lifestyle conducive to good physical, energetic and emotional health:
o Topic: Study of a two-week program to detoxify the body and boost the immune system through nutrition, plants and sleep, accompanied by protocols for cleansing cells of toxins, emotional impacts and working through heavy emotions (fears, insecurities, anger, deep sadness, grief, etc.).
o Result: An understanding of the action levers that enable you to rebalance your life, your physical and emotional health, your energies and your emotional and family ties.
Practices and exercises: concentrated over three days
A new meditation technique is taught and practiced every day. Each meditation is rooted in awareness and action. They target issues linked to our physical and emotional health, and to our energies;
Learn exercises to cleanse the seven main chakras of energetic, emotional and physical blockages and disorders;
Training in morning physical and energetic practices to get up and balance your body, energies and emotions before starting your day;
Training in energetic and physical practices for the evening, to help you fall asleep in good conditions after cleansing your body, energies and the impacts of the day;
Training to master our energies, the potential impact of the energies of others and places, and to free ourselves from the energetic obstacles that hinder us in our lives.
Depending on the progress of the program during the course, the dynamics of the group and the wishes expressed, other practices can be taught, such as self-care exercises, cleansing protocols, the use of stones, colors and materials.
You'll go home with :
A deeper knowledge and clearer understanding of your life and how your body functions through life's experiences, whether these be relational, emotional, psychological, physical, material or other difficulties;
A complete and diversified toolbox of practices, exercises, protocols and meditations to help you take control of your life and health;
Follow-up within the group of students with whom you have completed the internship. A discussion group is set up after each internship, generally via the WhatsApp application, through which you can continue to exchange with each other and with a member of the Rahul Bharti team, under the latter's supervision. The aim is to help you integrate and deepen what you've learned, and to support you in any difficulties you may encounter.

Understanding of the anatomy of the energetic system
The first days of the one-month course are dedicated to the understanding of the meaning of your life, the study of the functioning of your physical and energetic bodies and the learning of the practices you need to implement to feel well. Covering the 5-Day Workshop : “Are you Ready”, Rahul Bharti proposes a global reading and analysis of the human body, in order to take a transversal and holistic approach to health.
Main objectives:
Understand the meaning of life. Answer the following questions: Why are we here?
Theoretical framework
Understand how the human body functions on a physical and energetic level:
Subject: Study of the anatomy of the human body's energy system: study of the soul and the meaning of life on Earth, anatomy of the human body's energy system including study of the seven major chakras, energy in the body, masculine and feminine, elements: water-fire-wind, etc.
Result: An understanding of the energy circuit and the physical body, so you can take action to transform your health and your daily life.
Build a healthy lifestyle conducive to good physical, energetic and emotional health:
Topic: Study of a two-week program to detoxify the body and boost the immune system through nutrition, plants and sleep, accompanied by protocols for cleansing cells of toxins, emotional impacts and working through heavy emotions (fears, insecurities, anger, deep sadness, grief, etc.).
Result: An understanding of the action levers that enable you to rebalance your life, your physical and emotional health, your energies and your emotional and family ties.
Practices and exercises
A new meditation technique is taught and practiced every day. Each meditation is rooted in awareness and action. They target issues linked to our physical and emotional health, and to our energies;
Learn exercises to cleanse the seven main chakras of energetic, emotional and physical blockages and disorders;
Training in morning physical and energetic practices to get up and balance your body, energies and emotions before starting your day;
Training in energetic and physical practices for the evening, to help you fall asleep in good conditions after cleansing your body, energies and the impacts of the day;
Training to master our energies, the potential impact of the energies of others and places, and to free ourselves from the energetic obstacles that hinder us in our lives.
Self-healing practices, cleansing protocols, the use of stones, colours and materials will also be covered.
Detox program
A holistic approach aimed at purifying and rebalancing the body and mind through lifestyle changes, energy exercises, a tailored diet, intestinal cleansing, and physical training.
Ancient yoga stretches
Originated from Hatha Yoga, ancient stretches represents one of the earliest forms of yogic practice. Unlike contemporary yoga sequences designed for global instruction or sport—which historically did not exist—these movements were originally created to serve a profound internal purpose. They were not intended as exercises, but as vital tools to support yogis who spent long hours in deep meditation.
The physical movements of Hatha Yoga were developed to facilitate the circulation of internal fluids—particularly water—throughout the body. Each posture is carefully designed to bring balance to the joints, activate the fasciae, stimulate the lymphatic system, and strengthen the muscular structure.
The session begins with a comprehensive warm-up in a standing position, targeting the joints, muscles, nerves, and bodily systems. From there, we move through a structured sequence of exercises that address:
Legs: Activation and elongation of the ankles, hamstrings, and gluteal muscles.
Core and Upper Body: Strengthening and toning of the abdominal region, chest, neck, shoulders, and arms.
Side-Lying Postures: Gentle preparatory movements to engage and protect the spine.
Back: Focused development of the fasciae and deep musculature supporting the vertebral column.
Abdominals: Intensive core engagement for enhanced stability and internal strength.
Seated Postures: Strengthening of the scapular region, neck, elbows, and wrists to support posture and upper body coordination.
This 1.5-hour sequence draws inspiration from ancient yogic traditions and is designed to enhance flexibility, muscular tone, and energetic alignment. It is both personally transformative and professionally applicable—ideal for practitioners who wish to integrate this method into their own teaching and therapeutic practice.
Meditation
Action-oriented meditation is at the heart of this program. A variety of techniques combining breathing, visualization, and sounds will guide you toward a calm mind and energy harmonization.
High-quality treatments
Learn to diagnose imbalances and offer comprehensive treatments. You will also study the ideal conditions for practice (environment, materials, timing, energy hygiene).
Traditional Thai massage
Master an ancient massage technique involving fluid movements, pressure, and stretching, inspired by the teachings of Dr. Jivaka Kumar Baccha, the Buddha's physician.
Objective: You will learn Level 1 of traditional Thai massage, which will enable you to perform a complete session lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours, progressing from the feet to the legs, abdomen, arms, hands, neck and head.
The content covers the 5-Day Workshop on Thai Traditional Massage. You may find further detailed information on the description of Thai traditional massage in the drop-down menu and in the blog articles.
Please note: Learning Ancient ‘Thai’ Massage is a significant part of the one-month retreat.
Dancing with the Wind
A gentle practice similar to Tai Chi, aimed at balancing energies through meditative movement.
Sound healing (Tibetan Singing Bowls)
Explore the therapeutic power of Tibetan singing bowls. Rahul Bharti teaches therapeutic practices using sets of three Tibetan bowls (masculine, feminine and kundalini) according to specific protocols.
Objective: You will learn different protocols, which are articulated like musical scores, to be able to deliver treatments ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours:
Upper part: head treatment (20 minutes);
Front part: whole body treatment (45 minutes);
Back part: whole body treatment (45 treatment).
You will also be taught several self-healing practices with the bowls.
The content covers and further develops the 5-Day Workshop on Shamanic healing and Tibetan Singing Bowls. You may find further detailed information on the description of the Tibetan Singing Bowls in the drop-down menu and in the blog articles.
Energy Healing
Start by harmonizing your own energy (masculine/feminine balance, grounding, confidence). Then you will learn how to transmit these treatments to others through a method of laying on of hands, resulting in a complete 2 hours treatment called Ancient Healing, the ancestor of Reiki.
Rahul Bharti transmits his mastery of energetic practices by placing his hands on the body, either from a distance or in contact with it.
Objective: You will learn a 2 hours therapeutic energy treatment protocol that covers the entire body in order to work on releasing memories and traumatic impacts stored in the cells, energy blockages in the main chakras, etc.:
Head and chest treatment: a 20 to 30 minutes protocol
Front part treatment (from head to feet): a 45 to 60 minutes protocol
Back part treatment (from head to feet) : a 45 to 60 minutes protocol
You will also be taught several self-healing practices with your own energy.
Rahul Bharti will also explain the symptoms and how the energy works.
You will also learn an energetic therapeutic practice called defragmentation, to free the mind and unconscious blockages and gain clarity and awareness.
The content covers the 5-Day Workshop on Shamanic healing and Tibetan Singing Bowls. You may find further detailed information on the description of Shamanic Healing in the drop-down menu and in the blog articles.
